See where hiring is growing. Decide what comes next.
AI forecasts tell you what might happen. Hiring data shows what employers are doing now. Neither helps with the decision in front of you: whether your role is changing, where demand for people like you is moving, and what it pays. The Jobs Demand Index tracks that demand every week, country by country, from public data anyone can check, so anyone deciding their next move can see the demand for work like theirs, in their country.
Jobs rarely vanish. Demand for them moves.
Titles survive long after the work behind them has changed. More often than a role disappearing, employers quietly need fewer people in it, or the same title starts to ask for different skills. Headlines about whole industries miss this, because two jobs in the same sector can be heading in opposite directions. So the index rates demand occupation by occupation, 450 of them, and shows the evidence behind every rating.
One country at a time, done properly
Each country gets its own data, its own official outlook and its own ratings, read in the way that country classifies work: US SOC 2018 in the United States, NOC 2021 in Canada. A documented match between the two keeps every occupation consistent from one country to the next.
Built to be trusted
Every rating comes from public sources and names its basis. Thin data is labelled as thin. Ratings are never paid for, sponsored or adjusted on request, every weekly issue is archived as published, and any change to how ratings are built goes through a public changelog.
Who uses it
Professionals use it to check where demand for their work is heading before a career decision. Recruiters and HR teams use it to see which roles are getting harder to fill. Colleges, researchers and journalists use it as a consistent weekly measure. Organizations can get briefs, data and API access.
